In checkout, you have the option to indicate that you do or do not wish to receive substitutions for any items that may be out of stock at the time the order is shopped in-store.*
This selection applies to every item on the order – currently we are only able to offer an all-or-nothing option for substitutions: either allow substitutions on all items, or allow on none.
If you check the box indicating 'I don't want to receive any substitutions', you can expect any out of stock item to not be replaced. So if the item ordered is out of stock at the store, you should not receive any replacements for it and you should not be charged for it.
If you would like to receive substitutions, please note that unfortunately our store partners do not offer consistent communication with the shopper regarding substitutions. We understand that this ability would be greatly beneficial and appreciated among all our customers, so we are working on solutions for this! Nevertheless, your satisfaction is Anycart's top priority, so please reach out to us regarding any substitutions that do not meet your needs.
Although we work closely with all our retailer partners to improve order fulfillment, we do not ultimately have control over fulfillment and any errors if they do happen. For any scenario where you receive a substitution that you cannot use or was given in error, please reach out to our Customer Support Team for assistance with that issue.

*For retailer Weee!, substitutions are not offered. If an item is out of stock at the time the order is shopped, you will not be charged for it.
